Yoga for the Piriformis/ Sciatica
In this Yoga for Piriformis session, we work on postures with an internally rotated femur, in order to ease tensions in the piriformis (which deals with external rotation of the femur). Because the sciatic nerve runs underneath (or in some cases through) the piriformis, tightness in this muscle can result in sciatic pain.
